It is with immense sadness and regret that we announce the death of Steven Gasztowicz KC on Thursday 28th May following a short illness. Steven was an extremely versatile public law and chancery silk who began his career as a junior at these chambers in 1982, and remained a much loved and respected door tenant here for the rest of his life
Outside of the law Steven was a master of wines, a steam train enthusiast, a book collector and a gardener.
Steven was adored by his wife, Sally, to whom he was very happily married for 38 years, and by their two children. A warm and charming man with a dry sense of humour who was an outstanding role model, he will be greatly missed by all those who knew him.
