Miss Sally Barnett Head of Chambers

Sally has over 35 years of experience practising family law. As the Head of Chambers and a member of the Family Team, she is highly respected in her field and known for her ability to handle all cases from the more straightforward to very complex with sensitivity and professionalism. For the first years of her practise, Sally undertook a mixed variety of work ranging from criminal, civil and family cases which she found to be a valuable bedrock before practising exclusively in family law.

She has a proven track record of achieving favourable outcomes for her clients from all walks of life with an approachable, unflappable, sensitive manner yet robust where necessary.

Sally has a broad family practise, including contested divorce and nullity proceedings, financial remedy and private children disputes. She represents clients with substantial assets as well as those in nil/debt situations.

Sally is a Member of the Family Law Bar Association, a Trustee of Alex’s Wish children’s charity, and a member of the Middle Temple, Midlands Circuit committee.
