Miss Hannah Fountain
Hannah’s extensive legal background covers all areas of family law, including public and private law for children, domestic abuse, and financial remedies. She represents parents, Local Authorities, and Guardians in public law proceedings involving neglect, domestic abuse, drug and alcohol misuse, and mental health issues. Hannah also has significant experience in private law children matters, financial remedy and cases requiring injunctive relief.
Hannah builds strong relationships with her clients. She has been described by clients as “very thorough, kind, and easy to get on with” and “very supportive”. Hannah’s background as an advocate at a charity for people with disabilities also means that she has a strong awareness of the challenges that clients with communication difficulties face and is accustomed to dealing with highly sensitive and emotive issues.
Alongside the above qualities, Hannah is also a highly persuasive and fearless advocate who is adept at challenging and testing evidence in cross examination where necessary.
In addition to her legal work, Hannah is also a trustee of the Community advice and law service Leicester (CALS) and a member of the Family Law Bar Association.
“I never fail to be amazed by Hannah’s pragmatic approach to matters, always calmly attempting to find a resolution without the need for an acrimonious contest, whenever possible.”
Her rapid career progression covering child arrangements, care (parents and guardians), and finance work, as well as being awarded the Leicester Law Society Barrister of the Year, speak to her dedication and excellence in her field.
